1Spatial – NG9-1-1 Knowledge Gateway Microsite

As 1Spatial ramps up its focus on the public safety sector—specifically supporting the nationwide transition to Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1)—they needed a web presence that could move as fast as the regulations were evolving. That’s where we came in.

Skellator partnered with 1Spatial USA's Public Safety team to concept, design, and launch a dedicated microsite built to house their new Next-Gen Knowledge Gateway—a digital resource hub purpose-built for 911 authorities, GIS professionals, and telecom partners navigating the NG9-1-1 transformation.

In short, 1Spatial needed a market presence capable of keeping pace with it. Skellator built one.

Building the Go-to-Market Engine for NG9-1-1's Most Complex Compliance Challenge

The NG911 Knowledge Gateway is a full-funnel demand generation system designed to move public safety stakeholders from awareness to action — built on Webflow for rapid iteration as standards evolve.

At the awareness layer: a homepage drawing hundreds of organic views per month, an Interop Roadmap clearing the monthly traffic target set by 1Spatial, and a Knowledge Gateway consistently above goal. At the consideration layer: a 1Engage Solutions page at and a Navattic interactive demo, both clearing more than eight times its engagement target. At the bottom of the funnel: datasheets and a content library spanning case studies, whitepapers, and a full video series, all tracked against 1Spatial's pipeline goals.

Owning the Search Terms That Matter

In a niche this specialized, ranking for the right keywords matters more than ranking for high-volume ones. The buyers are specific and the terminology is precise. We weren't looking to produce generic traffic.

Within months of launch, ng911.1spatial.com ranked #1 nationally for "NG9-1-1 Spatial Data Integration" and "NG9-1-1 Location Data Integration" — the exact terms a GIS manager or NGCS program director types when actively evaluating solutions. The site holds #2 for "NG9-1-1 Location Data Management," "ArcGIS Pro NG9-1-1 data validation add-in," and "Functional Elements of NGCS," and #3 for "indoor mapping NG9-1-1" — a whitespace keyword Skellator identified and targeted early. Across 128 tracked keywords, the site averages in the top ten nationally.

1Spatial gave Skellator set a search visibility target of 1.5%. The site hit 1.99% in February and 2.01% in March — and has since grown to 2.29% as of April 2026, outperforming 1Spatial's own main domain on several high-intent terms.

NG9-1-1 is dense. It's full of acronyms, fragmented stakeholders, overlapping compliance requirements across federal, state, and local jurisdictions, and a buying center that spans PSAP directors, GIS authorities, state 911 coordinators, NGCS providers, and telecom OSPs who all need to hear different things.

We built messaging that speaks to all of them without losing the thread.

FCC mandates translated into practitioner-credible content. Interoperability framed as operational advantage, not just a checkbox. A content architecture — blogs, whitepapers, case studies, video — designed to address each persona at each stage of a long, technical sales cycle.

The result: a site that doesn't just inform. It aligns buyers around urgency.

Productizing What's Hard to Sell

1Spatial's value sits deep in automated validation, data governance, and standards alignment. That's a difficult story to tell.

We made it tangible, building an interactive Interop Roadmap showing the compliance journey end to end, a self-guided Navattic demo for 1Engage that runs without a sales rep in the room, and structured content pathways that show how the product works, not just what it does. The demo alone is completing hundreds of times per month — proof that the storytelling is landing with the right audience.

Most importantly, the microsite lives on a subdomain of their established domain (ng911.1spatial.com), ensuring SEO value and brand trust remained intact—without the overhead of fighting against legacy infrastructure or CMS bloat.

Bottom line: National #1 rankings for the highest-intent terms in the NG9-1-1 GIS market. Search visibility at 2.29% against a 1.5% target. Backlinks at 287 unique domains against a goal of 130. 165+ Navattic demo completions per month. A full-funnel content program — case studies, video, blogs, whitepapers, battlecards — mapped to their public safety pipeline goal. And a system built to compound, not plateau.
